Weren't they The Slurpees?
"Making Texas Big Since 1998"
|
 |
|
The Squishees are a rock band from Houston who don' t sound like any other rock band you've heard. Alternating and blending
Punk with Funk, with a dash of blues, and a pinch of metal, they make a high-energy, vitamin fortified Rock n' Roll Squishee
that will get you through your busy day. Get dosed up close and personal at one of their legendary live sets; just watch out
for discarded slurpees, vacuum cleaner innards, defective gear, etc. that might be thrown your way.
HEAR THE MAYHEM!!!

News
Well, it's here, the new Squishees ep, entitled "Strands and Drools" is now available at your local record store(Sound
Exchange and Cactus Music). We are very excited about it guarantee that what it lacks in quantity(only 5 songs!) is more
than made up by quality and variety. The songs encompass blues, funk, metal(complete with doom-like drums and whammy-bar
antics), psychedelic-locomotive riffage, circus madness, plaintive and playful melodies, air-raid siren warbling guitar, alley-cat
strutting vocals, and an instrumental ode to the body part of a Texas celebrity.
Here's a little preview(due to recent disturbances in the Earth's gravitational field, there may be a bit of time displacement
in this sample):
